Penetrating the medical device market is becoming increasingly more daunting and having a good understanding of the process is essential to increasing your chances of success. This talk will provide an overview of the process and provide specific examples of the hurdles one must overcome.
Scott Yerby is Chief Technical Officer of SI-BONE Inc., San Jose, California. Dr. Yerby received his B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and his Ph.D. (1996) in Biomedical Engineering, all from UC Davis. He has been involved at all levels of product development, from consultant to VP of Research and Development. He has been active in the medical device industry and currently serves as Chief Technical Officer of SI-Bone, a company specializing in spine implant systems.
