Brief description

Sub-millimeter PET detectors

We are fabricating a PET insert for a high  resolution dedicated breast and extremity PET/CT scanner. The insert will be capable of providing sub-millimeter spatial resolution for PET imaging. The prospective applications of the insert are for better characterization of response to therapy in the context of breast cancer and arthritis, and for providing an improved understanding of the pathogenesis of the aforementioned disease conditions.
