Studying Abroad as a Biomedical Engineering Student is Possible and Encouraged

As a Biomedical Engineering student, you can study abroad either in the Summer or in Fall quarter of your junior year. This is a great opportunity to develop academically, professionally and personally. Students often say it is one of the best decisions they make during college. With careful planning, you can enjoy being abroad while taking required courses towards your degree. See your undergraduate program advisor for help fitting study abroad into your academic plan.

The Global Learning Hub offers many local, regional, national and international programs through UC Davis Summer Abroad, Summer Abroad Internships, and UC Education Abroad Program (UCEAP). Also through Quarter Abroad, Global Intensives, UC Summer & Independent Programs, Virtual Summer Internships. Offerings can range by subject (general education, language acquisition, major-specific courses), by period of time (summer, quarter or year) and by academic or internship.
