The UC Davis College of Engineering will present Katherine Ferrara a 2017 Distinguished Engineering Alumni Medal Friday evening, January 19. Dr. Ferrara is a distinguished professor of biomedical engineering at UC Davis whose research has pioneered using ultrasound to image cancer and heart disease.
