BMES Chapter Wins Mentoring Award

The Biomedical Engineering Society at Davis, the UC Davis BMES Student Chapter, has won the BMES Student Chapter Mentoring Achievement Award.  The award honors the student chatper’s mentoring programs, especially those between the UC Davis chapter and the local BME industry.  BMES at UC Davis will be one of the featured speakers at the BMES 2014 Student Chapter – Outreach and Mentoring Best Practices session on Friday, October 24th at 9:30 a.m. in room 103A in the Henry N. Gonzales Convention Center in San Antonio.

This award also consists of a plaque, travel support for two members of the chapter up to and two complimentary Annual Meeting registrations. The plaque will be presented at the BMES Plenary session IV on Saturday, October 25 at 10:30 a.m. in San Antonio, TX.
