He will serve a 3-year term on a body that guides the activities, vision, and mission of the society representing the interests of tissue engineers in the Americas and around the world.
Dr. Jamal Lewis will join the Biomedical Engineering Department at UC Davis as an Assistant Professor this Fall.
Dr. Lewis received his Ph.D. degree in 2012, and comes to UC Davis following a postdoctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Dr. Benjamin Keselowsky in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at University of Florida.
