Louie Lab Seeks Imaging Scientist


A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of California, Davis for an imaging scientist with experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). This position is part of an NIH project to develop molecular imaging techniques to study cardiovascular arrhythmias. The qualified candidate has experience in imaging and a track record of high quality publications. Ability to work in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Required qualifications:
• Must have a PhD in Bioengineering, Imaging Physics, Chemistry, or related field
• Should have experience with Magnetic Resonance Imaging (particularly cardiac imaging), image acquisition and processing
• Experience with preclinical murine models would be viewed favorably
• Prior knowledge and experience in molecular imaging is helpful
