Biomedical Engineering Undergraduates Take Top Prize at Big Bang! Business Competition

UC Davis Mike and Renée Child Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship awarded nearly $100,000 at the 26th annual Big Bang! Business Competition, with the top prize going to First Bite, a biomedical engineering student team developing a safer device to secure breathing tubes for infants.

The UC Davis Professional Master’s Program in Medical Device Development (MDD) invites applications for instructional positions in a three-course “Engineering Skills” sequence offered across Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters. These graduate-level, hands-on courses are taught in person at the UC Davis Tech Foundry in Aggie Square (Sacramento, CA) and serve a cohort of approximately 10–15 students per quarter.
