Job Opportunity: Leach Lab Seeks Postdoctoral Fellow

A full-time postdoctoral position is available to study tissue engineering to promote bone repair and wound healing. The successful candidate will work on National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded multidisciplinary projects focused on evaluating dynamic changes in engineered tissues. This position is highly collaborative, working closely with other faculty in the Biomedical Engineering department, surgeons at UC Davis School of Medicine and the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. The successful applicant must have a Ph.D.

So it’s especially meaningful that his lab has been awarded a two-year, $150,000 grant to research solutions that would help himself and the approximately 1.4 percent of Americans — about 4 million people — who share his health condition.
